strive for clarity and legibility
stick with time tested fonts
serif is used for smaller text
sans serif is used for bigger
consider eye movement across the plain
Start left to right
balance font weights
Properly Space letters(Kerning)
Global letter spaces(Tracking)
Use columns to make pretty

D o n t ’s
Too many fonts spoil the design
Don’t use too similar fonts
Don’t use capital letters, no large bodies of text with capital letters
Distort fonts past clarity
The Mac is not a typewriter
